Just as a vault protects a bank’s treasures, the IT Security Administrator is our fortress against cyber threats. You will be the guardian of our digital wealth, implementing robust security measures, monitoring systems for breaches, and responding to incidents with swift precision. The ideal candidate will be a cybersecurity virtuoso with a knack for thwarting digital bandits and keeping our assets secure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and security breaches.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Manage and configure security tools, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs for staff.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Collaborate with IT staff and other departments to enhance security posture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, including malware, phishing, ransomware, and social engineering attacks.
• Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO/IEC 27001.
• Relevant certifications such as MSCE, N+, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
