A list of clients in the financial services sector are seeking a highly experienced Senior Equity Analyst to manage an investment department with exceedingly dedicated and motivated individuals.
An exhilarating opportunity is available for a seasoned equity professional to manage a team of 5 to 10 professionals daily – while analyzing complex data from multiple sources, to identify process and business improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate needs to have outstanding time management and leadership skills. This role will allow you to build a track record of achievements and successful financial models.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Finance modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Data Analysis (Front line)
• Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting the business requirements of stakeholders.
• Leadership and mentoring of junior analysts.
• Valuations and test plan development
• Weekly and monthly management report writing.
• Investment risk management.

Requirements:

• MSc/ post-graduate degree (Finance, Investment, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering).
• R, Python, VBA & MATLAB certification (Advantageous).
• 6 – 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial services and Fintech industry with minimum 2 years management experience.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Extensive knowledge of financial and investment markets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, train and mentor with integrity.
• High achieving individual with outstanding academic achievements (advantageous)
