Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint dynamic individuals on fixed term contracts at the National Department of Health (In Pretoria) to fill the following position:

Job Title: TB Specialist – Global Fund TB Grant
Location: Pretoria
CTC: R1 057 326 per annum

The TB Specialist will play a key role in leading the effective management of a tuberculosis project in line with its objectives, timeframe and budget as an integral member of the TB Control and Management Chief Directorate.

Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Public Health
• At least 5 Years’ experience in a leadership position
• Large scale project management experience
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Working in a health care environment
• Public sector experience in low- & middle- income countries preferred
• Prepared to travel frequently across SA

Job Description

• Design, develop & manage activity plan
• Alignment of sub-recipient work plans with grant objectives
• Conduct M&E assessments & project performance
• Compile accurate & timely reporting
• Communicate & support provincial & district teams
• Facilitate internal & external meetings
• Knowledge & document management
• Establish & manage project budgets
