Vacancy Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Packaging Supervisor in our Packing and Filling Department. This role involves supervising staff and overseeing departmental activities to meet quality standards. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close production lines per the filling and packing report.
  • Advise on production schedules based on available resources and weekly production plans.
  • Execute daily production plans, allocate resources, and respond to plan changes.
  • Track and evaluate production performance, quality standards, and yields.
  • Control filled products and finished goods, reconcile stock per batch, and handle packaging issues.
  • Manage waste segregation and recording, ensure FIFO and FEFO stock rotation.
  • Check and sign off records (e.g., cleaning and verification).
  • Prepare and complete reports, investigate deviations, and address supplier complaints.
  • Log equipment issues, assess breakdowns, and initiate corrective action as needed.
  • Plan labor, time, and equipment use for weekly production.
  • Manage staff performance, identify training needs, and conduct annual reviews.
  • Address time and attendance issues, and promote positive employee relations.
  • Support recruitment efforts as needed.
