SALARY : R227 802 per annum
CENTRE : Head Office
REQUIREMENTS : National Diploma / Bsc in Environmental Health / Occupational Health and
Hygiene / Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering. An Honours Degree or
B Tech Degree will be an added advantage. Valid drivers licence. Three years
relevant experience. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and procedures,
Batho Pele Principles, Public Service Act and Regulations , OHS ACT and
Regulations OHSAS, COIDA , ISO 18001. Skills: Facilitation , Planning and
Organizing , Computer literacy , Interpersonal , Problem Solving , Interviewing,
listening and observation , Presentation , Innovative , Analytical , Research,
Project management.
DUTIES : Conduct research into the development of Health and Hygiene policies.
Analyze and assess inspections for Health and Hygiene periodically as per
OHS programme. Conduct technical research on trends of Occupational
Health and Safety in terms of Health and hygiene. Provide administrative
support to ensure that the objectives of the directorate are fulfilled.
