Primary Responsibilities

 Handling all complaints and inquiries received from test station reception clerks, SGS Finance department, HR etc.
 Preparation of information required by Finance department and Automotive business manager (Test stations and automotive monthly petty cash expenses, VTest and Boss invoicing recons, weekly and monthly statistics for test station performance etc)
 Submission and control of all purchases related to the Automotive divisions (creating, capturing and finalizing purchase order payments of SABS levies for all SGS test stations which relate to road worthiness and number plates, and all other purchases within the division)
 Filing and maintaining of the divisions files (test stations)
 Providing training to test station reception clerks for VTest, Boss invoicing and petty cash systems.
 Pay visit to all SGS test stations to assist reception clerks with finance related problems when necessary
 Liaise with Automotive service providers regarding payments for service delivery and to verify that services were performed correctly
 Assisting the Automotive Business Manager with matters relating to test stations
 Handling of all Outsourcing personnel, time sheets etc
 Assist in COD accounts, reconciliation of accounts
 Dealing with Department of Transport officials/suppliers etc
 Assist test stations reception personnel in problem solving
 Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by your manager

IT Division
 Filing
 IT stock control
 Create purchase orders
 Receive and send equipment to other branches
 Meter readings
 Creating computer access accounts
 Travel bookings
 Administrating and managing all IT related contracts (e.g. ITEC, Online-direct, Telkom)
 Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by your manager

Reporting to

IT Admin Supervisor

Specific responsibilities

 To provide service activities on company systems, including installation, discontinuance, relocation, diagnosis, emergency repair etc while minimizing equipment downtime, ensuring client satisfaction, and assisting less experienced field engineers providing on-the-job training and work direction as well as to be responsible for supporting SGS’s client base.
 Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
 Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and report the situation to higher authority to take action.
 Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.


To conduct all the admin responsibilities and duties in the IT and Automotive division.


 Strong skill required on Office administration
 Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
