My client is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Site Manager to oversee shopfitting projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing site operations in the shopfitting sector.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and manage shopfitting projects from start to finish.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule constraints.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Site Supervision:
- Supervise all site activities including construction, installations, and inspections.
- Monitor progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Resolve any onsite issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
Team Leadership:
- Led and motivated onsite teams, including subcontractors and labourers.
- Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance as needed.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address concerns.
Technical Expertise:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of shopfitting techniques and materials.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Oversee installation of fixtures, fittings, and equipment according to design requirements.
Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain standards.
Communication and Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the shopfitting or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and health/safety guidelines.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
