Reporting to the Digital Sales Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with Institutional Administrators, Educators, Digital Coordinators, Government Officials, and other role players to promote OUP digital solutions.

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

The consultant will be expected to employ effective consultative selling techniques and strategies to conduct successful sales presentations and meetings
Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities
Maintain Oxford digital product knowledge and digital learning pedagogies
Deliver digital presentations and build strong relationships with Institutions, Government, and eDistributors
Conduct workshops and webinars to support customers to use OUP digital products effectively in learning and teaching.

Requirements:
The successful applicant will need:

A National Diploma in Sales, Marketing, ICT in Education, Digital
2+ years sales experience in educational publishing or EdTech services strongly preferred.
Facilitation skills
Deep understanding of the use of technology in an educational instructional environment as it relates to educational infrastructures, such as platforms and curricula.
Exceptional territory management expertise and robust experience resolving customer issues/problems.
Experience selling digital or subscription-based products is preferred.
Microsoft software skills: Outlook and Power Point (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate).
Experience with a CRM database (we use Salesforce) strongly preferred
High level organizational and communication skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to prioritize opportunities and achieve targets and identify new markets
Problem solving skills
Commercial acumen
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle essential
Willingness to travel
