PaarlMedia Recruits Mechanical Technician (Printing Industry)

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified, energetic and lateral thinker with high regard for integrity and accountability. Knowledge of the printing environment will be advantageous for this dynamic role of a Printers’ Mechanic.

 
Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Fault finding
• Maintenance planning and inspections of presses, mail room- and pre-press equipment
• Monitor and control maintenance schedules

 
Educational Requirements

• N6/N.Dip. Mechanical Engineering
• Printer’s Mechanic Trade Certificate – Advantageous
Experience Requirements • 5 Years’ Experience
• Experience in the Printing Industry – Advantageous

 
Skills & Competencies

• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Good computer knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
