Description:
Participation in operations regarding Investigational Products, administration thereof and meetings relevant to clinical and bioequivalence studies as needed, under the supervision of the Senior Research Pharmacist
-Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the preparation and dispensing of Investigational Products (IP’s) for Clinical and Bioequivalence studies
-Responsibility for investigational products according to International Guidelines and Pharmaceutical Services Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
-Participation in management of medication depot¿s
-Preparation and packaging of Medication, as needed
-Preparation and maintenance of Medication Files
-Incineration of study medication or return of medication to sponsor
-Participation in writing and reviewing of SOP¿s
-Liasion with other PAREXEL divisions and sponsors representatives, as needed
-Attending in-service training programs and academic discussions
-Degree in Pharmacy (Registered at the South African Pharmacy Council)

Experience:
-Self-motivated, with a willingness to accept responsibility
-Well-developed communication and organisational skills.
-Computer skills: ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Retail Pharmacy or Community Pharmacy experience
