Job Title: Business Consultant (French Speaking)
Location: Johannesburg

Duties & Responsibilities:
Client Details:

A highly successful international listed company who offers remote and international opportunities. This client looks for high achievers who wish to work with the best on a global playing field.

Role Responsibilities:
Defining solutions that match the client’s business needs.
Meeting with clients to gather, analyse and document business requirements and produce system requirements.
Participating in pre-sales activities.
Facilitating and demonstrating system functionality to clients.
Estimating scope of consultant effort and accurately estimates development time required for completion.
Guiding the project team through implementation and testing of the system requirements.
Reviewing test plans and test cases to ensure coverage of system requirements.
Acting as the primary contact point for client’s business interests.
Acting as a point of contact for information, support, direction and leadership.
Providing leadership to the project team and client on the impact of market and regulatory changes.
Delivering feedback to the product teams to ensure that future releases of the products meet the ongoing needs of the client / business.
Preventing poor decisions / judgement which could result in serious impacts to project costs and customer commitments.
Spearheads product marketing and product development (as and when required)
Mentors and guides more junior team members

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science and/or Telecommunications

Relevant Skills / Experience:

4 years’ experience as a Business / Software Consultant in the telecommunications industry.
In-depth understanding of the following:
Customer needs and general impact of changes in business environment and industry trends.
Wireline, wireless, data services, cable systems, pre/post-paid business models, etc.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
General understanding of project management disciplines.
Highly developed communication and facilitation skills.
Knowledge and experience in working with Agile teams would be advantageous.
Must be able to speak French.
