Job Title: Resource Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
A highly successful international listed company who offers remote and international opportunities. This client looks for high achievers who wish to work with the best on a global playing field.
Providing operational leadership to an internal program and the overall resource plan.
Supporting development of the resourcing strategy.
Managing overall resources allocation.
Overseeing day-to-day business operations.
Identifying all internal / external resources requirements.
Reviewing demand vs. capacity and providing recommendations / risks / issues to the global head of resourcing.
Ensuring skills matrix is maintained and that any gaps are understood.
Maintaining / managing relationships with partner organisations and contract agencies.
Managing service delivery costs / expenses and maximising margins.
Preventing projects from increasing risk through potential resourcing issues.
Hiring, developing and motivating a high performance dev and test team.
Developing and implementing an organisational structure, work processes, people systems and culture that ensure achievement of both short and long term business objectives.
Leveraging resources to optimise resource mix on projects.
Deploying available talent to support other business functions or backlog as needed.
Operating business units within the approved budget while improving employee utilisation rate
Reducing staff turnover and increasing available skill sets to support product development life cycle.
Bachelor Degree in Business or Human Resources.
Relevant Skills / Experience:
5+ years of experience within the software / ICT industry.
Proven experience developing and managing long term relationships.
Customer and client oriented, positive attitude.
Collaboration and facilitation skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with a focus on attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
