PEGASYS Institute is a not-for-profit organization working to find African solutions for African challenges in the fields of natural resources and infrastructure.
Our work focuses on generating ideas, advocacy, policy, and strategy in the areas of natural resource use, water, climate change and infrastructure.

Intern
• Full-time position (one-year contract)
• Location – Pretoria

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Required
• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in an appropriate field including (but not limited to) Economics, Geography,
Social Sciences, Water & Environmental Science, Engineering, Development Studies, or any other
relevant post-graduate qualification
• A demonstrable track-record of excellence

Preferred
• Prior exposure to broader development projects in developing countries, particularly South Africa or Africa
• Demonstrated capacity in report writing

individuals can have a significant impact.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE
• HDI preferred but not a constraining requirement
