Job Title: Creative Design Officer
Job Location: Durban

The purpose of the position is to implement campaigns and produce high quality, engaging visual content to encourage donations and support for the work of the charity, and engender a positive relationship with donors and volunteers. Using various design platforms, the Creative Design Officer will be preparing materials such as documents, leaflets, infographics, digital content across all platforms, and advertising, using existing company and campaign branding to maximum effect.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with team in order to implement the marketing and events calendar, and provide digital and design support
• Fulfill deliverables such as documents, leaflets, infographics, digital content, and advertising requirements of the organisation
• Develop graphics, visual or audio images for marketing collateral and website
• Comfortable working in an environment where project/tasks are often unpredictable

Requirements:

• Relevant subjects/qualification for graphic design work include those that involve visual arts
• Experience in Adobe Suite is essential
• Videography and photography experience required
• Verbal and written communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
• Organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Displays high energy and able to motivate self and others
• Have a positive, can-do and resilient attitude
• Be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast pace environment
• Self-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must prioritise and manage multiple high priority tasks
• Tolerant of the views and opinions of others
