1. Marketing Planning and Execution
*Proposing the annual Lipton RTD Tea strategy and plans i.e. jobs to be done, for the SA BU that shows a thorough market, consumer and brand understanding and analysis
*Supporting the Africa Commercial Manager in collating and analyzing Africa data, to develop market entry plans, coordinating artwork consumer understanding with Regional marketing team
*Taking guidance & aligning these plans with the Regional Marketing team and with the PLI Business manager Africa.
*Coordinate with PI Franchise and Bottling Marketing Manager to ensure plan alignment and execution and integration within the overall BU Marketing Calendar.
*Management of ATL, BTL, Packaging Research & PR Agencies with the Bottler for Lipton brand and coordinate with BU Marketing manager
*Lead consumer research activity on Lipton brand, linking with the Consumer Insights department
*A&M and Digital Management
2. Trade and Channel Development
*Support in the development of channel-specific brand plans
*Champion the correct brand execution in the POS
*Follow up the plans execution
3. Business Alignment Process with PI Key Stakeholders & Bottlers
*Responsible for alignment with PLI Regional Marketing team on all marketing activities & participating in the taskforce teams.
*Responsible for alignment with PI Marketing team on brand plan and activities
*Responsible for alignment and seeing through the Bottler execution of the marketing plans.
*Working with the PLI Commercial Manager Africa to implement the agreed strategies in SA
*Brand Management/consumer marketing full experience (3 – 5 years) – FMCG industry orientation
*Relevant tertiary qualification
*Experience in working in a Franchise role
*Agency management experience
*Operating experience
*Language skills (Fluent English – written and spoken) and multicultural exposure
