The State Key Account Manager is required to enable and facilitate processes and activities resulting in improved access to Pfizer Brands within the State Sector. The incumbent will need to collaborate with the Speciality, Primary Care Sales Managers and Field Force designated to cover State Hospitals towards the attainment of Regional/Provincial business objectives.
The following key outputs will serve as primary goals:
• Development of Regional and Provincial strategies by predetermined customer segment by brand.
• Managing and developing critical business relationships with KOL’s.
• Implementation of strategies and tactics and the monitoring of achievement against business objectives.
• Management of Regional/Provincial pharmacy depots with regard to their inventory and replenishments.
• Development of internal and external relationships by brand across the portfolio.
• Alignment of roles and responsibilities with Speciality & Primary Care colleagues and Sales Managers.
• Achievement of sales targets and market ranking goals.
Reporting Structure Reporting to: State Relations Manager
Number of Direct reports: none
• Essential in this position is a Commercial or Science qualification.
• The ability to communicate confidently is critical to the position.
• 3- 5 years Pharmaceutical sales experience in the State Sector
Technical Skills • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry and Healthcare environment
• Knowledge of State hospital referral system
• Well rounded experience in disease entities and treatment products
