Job Title: Office Support & Personal Assistant

Location: Johannesburg
Reports to: District Manager and supports CFO South Africa

Main Purpose of the Role:
Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing secretarial functions such as Manager’s agenda, preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings, providing reports, being involved in marketing as well as some internal and external communication

The job demands in depth knowledge, experience and understanding of the organisation and the many business processes and disciplines that are managed by the District Manager. In addition, a further aspect is the need to be able to think ahead and to take action in such a way as to enable decision-making processes and prioritize actions.

Key Accountabilities
Experience in all standard secretarial tasks / PA function to the District Manager & CFO South Africa
Manage routine customer communication with appropriate escalation
Plan and manage professional meetings (Arrange catering, décor, etc)
Effective coordination of actions with key stakeholders and team members
Maintain confidentiality related to business and team members
Liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Basic financial / business understanding
Assist with adhoc duties such as arranging international travel, forex, local transfers, etc.


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Understanding of complex business processes
Self-motivated and able to make decisions independently
Sense of responsibility & Urgency (Time Management essential)
Excellent inter-personal skills
Advanced Excel knowledge (Excel financial modelling – pivot tables, extrapolation, etc)


Education and Experience
Matric / Grade 12 or SAQA accredited equivalent (Essential)
Secretarial Diploma would be an advantage
3-5 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant to an Executive (C-Suite) with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, extrapolation, etc.)
