Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Sani Pass

Job Summary:
Our Hotel situated near Sani Pass is seeking a Restaurant Manager to be fully responsibility for the restaurant/s & bars for the property. Responsible for operations and profitability by effectively planning, leading, organising and controlling, all aspects of strategy, marketing, budgets, standards and finances.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a restaurant environment in total
Minimum of 4 years restaurant management experience
Minimum of 2 years F&B Experience in Hotels
Grade 12
Further Industry-related qualification (Desirable).

Job Knowlege and Skills Required:
Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Micros or Relevant POS system
Working knowledge of Human Resource Policies and Practices;
Working knowledge of Legislation applicable to the a Food and Beverage operation;
Understanding of Marketing & Sales Principles within the Food & Beverage environment;
In-depth knowledge of Food, Wine, Liquor and Beverage;
In-depth knowledge of stock management;
Working knowledge of equipment used in a Food & Beverage operation;
Understanding of the Time & Motion Principles in a kitchen, restaurant and service departments
Working knowledge of Financial & Administrative Principles;
Working knowledge of POS and PMS systems;
Basic understanding of IT, AV & Telecomms software & hardware systems;
Knowledge of Diverse Cultures
