Job Description
Develop, implement and manage the procurement department to ensure that procurement runs smoothly and effectively
Work with production to monitor stock levels of raw materials and manage orders of new stock
Manage supplier relationships to maintain execution of reliable supply chain
Work closely with key internal stakeholders to understand and support the needs of the business
Ensure regular and ongoing communication with internal customers to understand and facilitate their needs
Manage and monitor supplier performance by utilizing established process and tools such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Job Requirements
Minimum of Honours degree in Purchasing/Procurement or equivalent
Have 3-5 years experience in procurement management role
Knowledge of contracts and contracts management
Understand the main sources and suppliers of raw materials
Have speed and accuracy in executing the duties
Have knowledge of FMCG
Have knowledge of international sourcing
JDE experience will be advantageous
Good problem solving and communication skills
