Production Planner In Southafrica

Production planning, in line with capacity of work centres / machines and manpower Scheduling manufacturing orders according to customer requirements and within lead timeInventory Management and Control (Ordering, stock take, cycle counting) Raw material purchasing, follow up on timeous and correct deliveries, in-line with production requirementsDaily maintaining of master data in the material requirements planning system (M3)Open communication with customers regarding production / delivery dates.

Experience requirements

5 years’ experience in a computerised production planning environment and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. Extensive experience in procurement procedures.ERP / MRP system knowledge – preferably M3.

Knowledge

Overall supply management.The manufacturing environment.Production resources / capacity planning.

Educational requirements

Degree or National Diploma in Production Management / Logistics Management

Personality requirements

Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and negotiation skills.Good work ethics.Ability to work without constant supervision.Enthusiastic and dynamic.
