PROFESSIONAL NURSE GR 1-3 (GENERAL NURSING) PN – A2 TO PN-A3 14 POSTS REF NO: MPDOH/SEPT/14/23
SALARY : R183 009-R349 095 per annum plus 12% of basic salary rural allowance for ISRDS nodes

CENTRE : Middelburg Hospital Nkangala District

REQUIREMENTS : Registration with the S.A.N.C as a Professional Nurse, Current registration with S.A.N.C as a Professional Nurse for 2012/2013, Diploma/Degree in General nursing(Bridging course or four year comprehensive course). Diploma in Midwifery/ Psychiatry.Submission of certified copies, personal documents and SANC receipt.

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of Legislation, related legal and ethical nursing practices. Knowledge of the scope of practice for the different categories in nursing. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate the nursing care regimen. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Implement Batho Pele Principles.

DUTIES : Implement a comprehensive nursing care plan, Administer treatment plan. Create and maintain a complete and accurate nursing record, Implement quality improvement plan, Implement patient care standard, policies and procedures. Utilize resources effectively. Implement PMDS, Adhere to Batho Pele principles and Patients’ Rights Charter.
