Purpose of the job
To provide administrative and coordinating services throughout the programme/ project life cycle.
Key Responsibility Areas
To provide secretarial services and support to the programme/project manager.
To provide general office administration in order to ensure smooth running of the project office.
Assist the Project Manager/Junior Project Manager with routine functional tasks relating to the managing of a successful project. Self Development.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum requirements: Matric certificate and/or equivalent.
Experience: 3 – 4 years experience in the project management environment.
The experience must include 1-2 years experience in a general administration role.
Technical Competencies Description
Knowledge of: EPM (Enterprise Project Management) tools; Basic knowledge of Financial; management; Basic
knowledge of Project Management methodology and frameworks (PMBoK, Prince II); Record Keeping. Skills:
Problem Solving; Sound communication, verbal and written; Organising; Coordination; Planning; Analytical
thinking; Collaborative; Attention to detail.
Other Special Requirements: The incumbent will be required to work long hours and overtime.
