Job Duties:

• Lead and manage projects and consulting initiatives within the mining sector.
• Develop and implement project management frameworks tailored to mining operations.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies using industry best practices.
• Conduct project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor project performance, prepare progress reports, and communicate with key stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to align project goals with organizational objectives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Utilize project management tools (such as MS Project) for scheduling and reporting.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Strategic thinking with a focus on results and value delivery.
• High-level negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Education:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma

Experience:

Minimum 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in managing projects in the mining industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Understanding of mining industry practises and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Master’s degree in Project Management or related field
