Will need to pull resources from other business lines to execute against the Pure Africa strategy across GBS, GTS, SWG and STG
Experience in Banking, Telco and Government Sectors is preferred
A history in selling VDI solutions, Cloud Solutions, Analytics is preferred
Knowledge of selling into managed services providers is preferred
Strong experience in competitive selling and complex deal making
Deep understanding of competitive solutions and ability to execute PureFlex sales plays to counter
Will be responsible for achieving the assigned territory brand objectives (profit and revenue)
Developing a winning sales strategy that addresses client business objectives and leverages the PureFlex Value Proposition relevant to the territory assigned
Analyzes the market opportunity and adapts strategy to maximize market capture with Pure offerings
Drives country progression clinics, cadences and win plans, often in partnership with team IBM (CBSS, CTS/CTA, SWG and client team)
Owns the PureFlex sales execution, inclusive of the PureFlex plays as they relate to growth solutions (MSP, Cloud, VDI)
Drives and supports the IBM Pure ecosystem in country (Innovation Centers, ISV/SI relationship development, business partner channels)
Works closely with the Pure Channel team to ensure alignment and capacity of channel support the brand objectives
Works closely with the Pure technical leader to ensure the technical vitality of the Pure ecosystem
Supports enablement plans and demand generation events
Required
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 8 years experience in Sales Profession with a history in selling STG lead solutions across all brands with extensive experience in Power and Systems Software
At least 8 years experience in Pull resources from other business lines to execute against the Pure Africa strategy across GBS, GTS, SWG and STG
At least 8 years experience in Experience in Banking, Telco and Government Sectors and history in selling VDI solutions, Cloud Solutions, Analytics
At least 8 years experience in Selling into managed services providers and Strong experience in competitive selling and complex deal making
