Paarl Media Cape, situated in Montague Gardens a dynamic manufacturing operation is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the Company’s efforts, formulate and maintain policy procedures for the development of total quality program.

Specific Accountabilities (but not restricted to)

•Implement and improve QMS -Manage, maintain and ensure the ongoing improvement of the Quality Management Systems thereby contributing to company compliance to safety standards and regulations;

Review and update existing policies and processes related to the QMS, identifying and implementing areas for improvement to ensure ongoing compliance

•Manage audit process -Manage the preparation and completion of all aspects of the relevant audits both internal and external to ensure compliance to standards and regulations; Co-ordinate and plan relevant internal audit inspections;

Review inspection reports and ensure the implementation of required actions to address identified non-conformances and improvement opportunities

•Manage product quality assessments -Review quality inspection policy and process and report and recommend best practice alternatives to address gaps and implement improvements;

Review, monitor, manage, maintain, improve and report on the quality assessment data and process to senior management to ensure quality trends are used to identify areas that require priority focus to enhance the value of the product

•People management and leadership -Ensure that all direct reports have performance goals in place and are managed accordingly and in line with the company performance calendar; Initiate and manage the disciplinary process as per company protocols ;Ensure each employee has a personal development plan in place to address competence gaps and future career growth
