Job Summary:
The incumbent would be required to have a good understanding of the technical aspects of various deliverable and downstream specs and be enthusiastic about evolving and adapting these to our client’s needs. The incumbent would also be required to use both industry standard and bespoke software to ensure that our client’s demands are satisfied within their timescales to an exemplary standard. Be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team with flexible attitude as some evenings and weekends work may be required.

Key performance areas include but are not limited to:

1.Multimedia:
-Working in Multimedia / Online suite on equipment which will typically include bespoke high-end software, hardware, reference video monitors and video archival tape machines.
-Checking technical and creative quality of content, ensuring all work meets the required regulations specified for the job.
-Performing Quality control. Viewing materials, when specified, and either fixing or creating reports so that the relevant department can rectify any reported issues.
-Creating specified delivery assets per job specification, whether for broadcast, steaming, digital cinema, or any other downstream deliverable. This would include all subtitle and archiving packages required by clients.
-Working with producers on the job to clarify with clients and / or broadcasters delivery specifications.
-Helping with workflow and solving technical issues from other areas of the operation.
-Keeping abreast with current and future trends.
-Prepping and conforming source materials (including colour conversion).
-Creating outputs of various media formats.
-Delivering high quality of service and reporting to both internal and external clients.
-Working and liaising with other internal departments.

2.Administration:
-Handling associated paperwork from work orders to labelling of materials.
-Completing time reports and logging all chargeable items timeously.

Requirements:
A qualification in Digital Media Design would be advantageous
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role specialising in Video Mastering for broadcast and cinema
Proficiency in client interface in post production
Proficiency in creating of DCP and IMF packages
