Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
The main objective of the IT Technician is to maintain the IT infrastructure, company hardware & software and to ensure the security of all company IT assets.

Job Description:
Maintaining the company’s computer services and equipment.
Maintaining IT network infrastructure.
Installing network infrastructure as required (cables, routers, Wi-Fi access points).
Installing and updating required hardware and software as per company standards.
Administering, supporting and configuring Microsoft 365 for employees.
Supporting the Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
Maintaining VoIP telephone system together with the service provider.
Troubleshooting to detect and solve technical problems.
Researching and recommending computer protection, products or equipment to improve company productivity.
Completing required documentation, including IT requests, IT lists etc.
Maintaining a database for all IT equipment and software in the company.
Auditing and updating IT equipment register.
Providing IT support for company users.
Procuring new equipment as required (PCs, Laptops, Peripherals).
Maintaining file systems and server backups.
Assisting with the implementation of purchased external software.
Liaising with external software support desks on problems experienced with software and generating solutions.
Supporting internal users of external software systems.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Experience:
5 Years minimum experience in the Information Technology field.

Experience in administering Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Networking and Cloud computing.

Education:
Applicable qualifications.
