Revenue Management Analyst

Based in Isando

Salary: R20 500 per month plus provident fund and car allowance.

A well-established market leader in the car rental sector based in Isando requires a team player who is action orientated, deadline driven and customer focused. You will be responsible for world-class revenue management support to the business. The incumbent must have strong mathematical, statistical, and rate structures expertise, a relevant Degree qualification that includes Mathematics and Statistics is essential , an Economics and Management Account Qualification will also be benefit.

The successful candidate must have:
• Matric Qualification
• A tertiary education that includes mathematics and statistics
• Economics and management account qualification will be beneficial
• Advanced computer literacy
• Relevant experience
• Comprehensive mathematical and statistical expertise

Your busy and challenging day will include but not limited to:
• Able to source information
• Conducting competitor analysis
• Presenting information to all levels of the organization
• Analyzing information , questioning the norm and making proposals
• Understanding a company’s fleet processes
• Understanding of the local segment
• Making use of a contribution model to determine contribution for different variables
• Rate structures, rate code functionality and the rental counter function

Revenue Management
• Revenue Management application for non-contracted business
• Re-directing tactical planning where necessary to achieve KPI (Key Performance Indicator) targets
• Collaborative problem solving
• Propose yielding strategies to Manager
• Ensuring rates are loaded accurately in the in-house / Wizard systems within allocated time frame
• Assisting Pricing analyst in the identification new product opportunities
• Setting-up of Revenue Management KPI’s per region to align to organizational KPI’s
• Maintaining and developing revenue management tools and processes
• Fleet analysis – Advise at various levels of the S&OP process
• Working with Operations to better understand and measure demand and fleet availability

Reporting
• Reporting on fleet constraints, reservations and regional trends to regions on weekly basis
• Identifying and addressing poor performing KPI’s
• Developing action plans

Benchmarking
• Continuous liaison with company’s international Revenue Management team to bench-mark on best practices
• Identifying revenue management tools
• Researching Revenue Management tools and practices
• Document revenue management processes
• Identifying competitor tactics and strategies
• Providing feedback to Manager

Relationship building
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key operations managers

Meetings
• Presenting at Regional operations redline
• Attending Redline team meeting monthly
