The Department Rural Development and Land Reform is currently offering bursaries to students who are South African citizen to study in one the following fields: • BSc in Geomatics/Land Surveying • BSc in Town and Regional Planning • National Diploma in Surveying • National Diploma in Cartography • National Diploma in Town and Regional and Regional Planning.

The bursary covers registration and university fees, accommodation fees, book allowance, meals and living allowance.

It is the student’s responsibility to seek admission with tertiary institutions and accommodation within University and University of Technology residence. Applicants will be expected to enter into a contract with the Department. The bursary is for full-time studies and will be renewed annually, based on academic performance or results.

Minimum requirements: Mathematics, Physical Science, Geography and English as subjects, all at least C+ (Higher Grade C).
