Sales Team Management:
• Manage the Sales Team, based on weekly and monthly performance versus budget and targets.
• Motivating designated team to achieve goals and ensure their job satisfaction
• Manage the sales team activities to ensure profit margin levels are maintained.
• Development of Sales Team
Maintain and enhance the number of satisfied customers
Preparation of Strategic plans for Key Accounts, including development strategies and actions.
Provide existing and new clients with differentiated product solutions and services, while simultaneously seeking out speciality applications and capturing new markets. Product and service differentiation, plus an understanding of customer needs and processes.
Monitor the order process by ensuring that sales are generated, monitored and forecast commitments are achieved.
Manage the Demand planning process and forecast input on the Demand Planning tool, to ensure correct stock levels at all national sites, thereby ensuring improved customer service. Responsible for Forecast Accuracy for the Region.
Submit a monthly updated annual Financial forecast based on the latest demand forecast.
Manage and maintain control over debtor’s days and ensuring target days are achieved.
Identify new business opportunities and manage the project until successfully implemented.
Responsible for trading the key commodity products for the region.
Preparation of the annual budget covering sales volume, value and gross profit, to ensure that the sales teams’ activities are planned and aligned.
Responsible for effectively implementing price increases based on product cost increases.
Effective involvement with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement and Technical.
Participation in business Reviews
Effective communication on all relevant business issues.
Customer entertainment to strengthen business relationships.

Qualifications: Tertiary Qualification, 3 year Diploma is minimum requirement. Preferably a Degree

Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in Chemical Industry, of which a minimum of three years should have been in people management at a senior level.
