Key sales management and strategic role with a very large, cross-platform, B2B media group. Management of two leading industry, national B2B magazines and associated brand extensions, including online, events, awards, supplements, sponsorship and advertising including display, classified and recruitment. These are among the best known products in B2B publishing so this is a high profile role offering a real opportunity to stand out.
The role will involve managing Key Account Managers and a telesales team and working closely with clients to establish successful relationships. The majority of the role will be focused on selling client directs, managing sales strategy, developing new business, attending sales meetings/networking, preparation and presenting of presentations.
This is a senior role largely concerned with team management key account direct sales so the successful candidate will have significant previous experience and a very strong track record of developing people, including other managers, probably gained in a mainstream B2B publishing environment, and probably with some history on B2B magazines.
