Sappi: Artisan Assistant Job Opportunity

We seek a suitably qualified Artisan Assistant to safely perform less complex maintenance tasks and to assist Artisans with complex maintenance tasks, thereby contributing to the overall equipment effectiveness

Requirements

Grade 12 with Maths and Science or an equivalent NQF4 qualification
Valid driver’s license code EB

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair and overhaul equipment concerning Air-con, Electrical, Mechanical, and Instrumentation workshop services
Assist production personnel with isolation process where required
Obtain Sappi Lock out permit as per job requirements
Handle refrigerant safely and dispose fluorescent tubes in a safe manner
Correct selection and use of tools for the job and maintenance there off
