Job Position Summary
Purpose of the job: To lead and manage a production team to ensure integration and co-ordination across the supply chain to meet overall business goals.
Job specification
Specific experience required
•Minimum of 2 years experience in Process Operations in a petro chemical environment and Management at SPC level or higher (Is this not too low for a foreman. Should we not be specific ito petro chemical process operations)
Acting experience as Foreman (6 months minimum)
Required outputs: Functional
•Set team vision and goals
•Handle trips and emergency situations
•Issuing of permits
•Management of Lockout systems.
•Carry out critical task observations
•Employee management issues
•Identify training needs
•Supervise service providers and hired labour
•Ensure smooth plant operation
•Commissioning/Decommissioning of plant
•Knowledge of RMS system
•Be able to use SAP system
•Budget control.
Job Requirements
Qualifications required (Must)
•Grade 12 / N3 (Maths, Science & English) (NQF 4) Must
•T3 / National Diploma – Chemical (will be an advantage)
