Perform multi-disciplinary draughting work in the Engineering fraternity .

  • Produce engineering drawings on computer for construction and maintenance purposes
  • Update redlined engineering drawings
  • As-built existing plant drawings
  • Update existing drawings with supplied as-built data
  • Redraw existing engineering drawings
  • Quality Assurance check on existing and updated drawings
  • Assist senior draughting personnel in obtaining information in the plant
  • Customer service – supply clients with drawings and information
  • Search for drawings as per requirements from customer and print drawings for project execution
  • Locate drawings in the document management systems
  • Maintain information in document management systems, computer network systems and databases
  • Execute tasks according to priority given by the planners
  • Plan, schedule and organise outputs according to priority
  •  Work towards plans, targets and report on own work
  • Ensure that work standards are met according to quality, quantity and due dates to ensure less than 5% rework
  • Adheres to standard procedures and practices with guidance
  • Review compliance and follow up against the standards and objectives
  • Perform all tasks cost efficiently
  • Optimises and control resources effectively
  • Demonstrate safety consciousness at all times as per

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (must)
  • Draughting psychometric test
  • Technical drawings (wish)
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English (must)
  • Drivers licence
  • Computer literate (MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) (must)
