SASSA: Graduate / Internship Programme 2018

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is inviting unemployed graduates, throughout South Africa, to apply for our Internship Programme.

The following positions are available at Head Office:

• Legal Services (Qualification: LLB) (Ref No: SAS In- 01)
• Human Capital Management (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree: Human Resource Management / Training and Development) (Ref No: SAS In-02)
• Facilities and Auxiliary Support (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree : Fleet / Building / Property / Travel and Tourism Management (Ref No: SAS In- 03)
• ICT [x2] (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree: IT (Ref No: SAS In- 04)
• Finance[x2] (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree: Financial Accounting / Supply Chain Management) (Ref No: SAS In- 05)
• Internal Audit [x3] (Qualification: National Diploma / Degree: Internal Audit / Auditing, Financial Information Systems / Business Information) (Ref No: SAS In- 06)
• Marketing and Communication [x2] (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree: Public Relations / Communication / Journalism) (Ref No: SAS In- 07)
• Grants Administration (Qualification: National Diploma / B-Tech / Degree: Operations Management / Management services (Ref No: SAS In- 08)

The following positions are available at SASSA North West:

• Human Capital Management: Development and Transformation unit (1 post) (Qualification: N Diploma / Degree in HRD / Industrial Psychology (Ref No SAS NW 03 / 2017) Location: Regional Office (Mafikeng)
  NB: Preference will be given to African Male, African Female followed by Person with disability at the time of appointment.
• Human Capital Management: Labour Relations unit (1 post) (Qualification: N Diploma (Labour Relations) / Degree in Labour Law (Ref No: SAS NW 04 / 2017) Location: Regional Office (Mafikeng)
  NB: Preference will be given African Female, African Male followed by Person with disability at the time of appointment.
• Finance: [x2] (Qualification: N6 / Diploma / Degree with BCom accounting (Financial / Management). Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Office: Klerksdorp (Ref No: SAS NW 05 / 2017) and Ngaka Modiri Molema District Office: Mafikeng) (Ref No: SAS NW 06 / 2017)
  NB: Preference will be given to African Female, White Female followed by Person with disability at the time of appointment (Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Office)
  NB: Preference will be given to African Male, Indian Male followed by Person with disability at the time of appointment (Ngaka Modiri Molema District Office)
• Grants Administration: [x2] (Qualification: Bachelor degree Social Science (Social Work). Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Office: Vryburg (Ref No: SAS NW 07 / 2017) and Bojanala District: Rustenburg Local Office (Ref No: SAS NW 08 / 2017)

All applicants must be: between the ages of 18-35 years and be a South African citizen. Studied at the recognized institution or higher learning in the Republic of South Africa. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 month internship contract. An all inclusive monthly stipend of R4200 will be paid for a National Diploma and R5200 for a Bachelors Degree.

Important notes: Appointment will be subject to compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, ITC, criminal checks and compulsory competency assessment (where necessary).
