Our client a leading entity in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Senior FX Dealer – Corporate FX Dealing Desk who will report to the Head Dealer.

The Senior FX Dealer on the Corporate Client FX Dealing Desk is responsible for the performance of the corporate trading book. This role ensures that the desk is successful in operations, sales, and profitability.

Qualifications:

Matric (Required)
Graduate (Finance related degree/qualification) (Required)
RE5 Representative exams (can be written within 2 years)

Experience (Advantageous):
Working in financial markets
Dealing/trading on any major banking or stockbroking or treasury management platform (FX preferred but not essential eg. Equities, Derivatives, etc.)
Treasury Management (currency risk management, FECs)
Existing relationships within Financial Services (IFAs, Wealth or Asset Management etc and any Corporate clients (Importers/Exporters)
Reporting on Corporate Dealing Desk numbers including deal count, NP, GP, traded clients, margin and first trades.
Reporting on trading cycles, down trading, upselling and opportunities.
Proposing and implementing strategy around reporting results.
Working closely with the corporate BD’s to get clients/deals over the line and retaining clients. This may require dealer to accompany BD’s to corporate client meetings and do presentations.
Building, growing and maintaining relationships with Corporate clients
Designing and delivering bespoke FX and Treasury Management solutions/products for Corporate clients.
Create and propose enhanced product offerings through banking relationships
Providing quotes for clients, provide dealer cover when required and processing deals
Responding to client queries and providing insights into relevant and current market news and developments
Signing off completed BOP forms to ensure accuracy of beneficiary details from onward payment instructions
Ensure that Corporate Dealing Desk is up to date on CRM, admin and the ‘Settlement Account Open’ calls.
