Job Description

The incumbent of this strategic position will lead the Academy’s customer service training department in order to plan, manage and deliver all related activities supporting the Customer Service Division’s key objectives. The ideal candidate should be someone who is serious about innovation in training methods and delivery. This person will lead the dealer network to a new mindset with regards to technical skills and knowledge requirements.


Key Job Functions

Manage Academy programs focused at dealer staff in technical, service and parts departments
in order to ensure all the current and future needs of the dealer network are addressed. (i.e. T-TEP,
TSA 21, CS Society, TFT 21, HQS, TSMT. TPMT, Team 21, Parts 21, TST 21 etc.)
Cost management in terms of the CS training departments overhead and capex budgets.
Monitor and manage training costs to achieve cost reduction objectives
Manage, guide and motivate all related training managers & staff to continuously improve training
Achieve set training and grading objectives as planned
Manage and control all SHE activities for all TSAM workshops
Ensure environmental compliance in related areas
Research to keep abreast of legislative changes effecting training as well as best practices in training delivery


Qualifications and Experience

National Technical Diploma
Minimum NQF 7 relevant qualification (8 level framework)
Minimum of 10 years training experience Dealer experience
Computer literate
Trade Diploma will be preferable
Knowledge of all relevant training legislation
