REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 in Financial Management / SCM/Asset
Management, At least three to five years relevant experience, Thorough
knowledge of BAS and LOGIS, Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury regulation and
other Asset Management Regulatory Framework in the Public Services,
Knowledge of Life cycle costing using various techniques, Standard Chard of
Accounts, Principles and practices of accounting, asset management, of movable
asset management, Techniques and practices of asset verification accounting,
Knowledge of asset management frame work , asset management policy, asset
administration, the PPPFA and the PFMA, Customer and quality management,

Problem solving and communication skill, Computer literacy, A valid drivers
license (Code EB).


DUTIES : Implement policies and procedures to minimize risks of losses and efficient
management of asset, Perform stock counting, verification and evaluation of
assets, Maintain and update the Asset Register, Perform asset reconciliations,
Ensure marking and bar-cording of assets, Compile, update and distribute asset
lists, Monitor, advise and assist the districts on asset management matters,
Analyze and interpret asset management report.
