REQUIREMENTS : A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification. Secretarial Diploma will be an
added advantage. Good computer literacy with relevant computer packages (MSWord,
MS-Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and typing skills. Effective office
administration skills including diary management skills. Good interpersonal
relations, communication (verbal and written) and the ability to work both
independently and in a team. Good organizational, coordination and planning
skills. Incumbent must be willing to undergo screening for a security clearance.


DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial and
administrative support to the Deputy Director-General: Cabinet Office. Manage,
organise and coordinate all activities and tasks of the DDG. Make logistical
arrangements for internal and external meetings and taking minutes when
requested. Manage the diary, correspondence and workflow in the office.
Drafting and typing correspondence/documents including PowerPoint
presentation. Maintaining and managing the filing system and document registry
for the DDG’s office. Coordinate the office logistics matters including travel and
accommodation arrangements. Assist to manage and monitor DDG: Cabinet
Office cash flow. Assist to prepare budget projections when required. Prepare
and keep record of monthly expenditure information. Prepare and submit travel
claims for approval and payment. Assist with procurement of goods and services
for the office.
