SENIOR STATE ACCOUNTANT: BUDGET 2 POSTS REF NO: MPDOH/SEPT/14/38
SALARY : R227 802 per annum Level 8)
CENTRE : Provincial Office, Nelspruit

REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be in possession of a Senior Certificate, an appropriate Bachelor of Commerce degree/ Diploma in Cost Management Accounting coupled with 5Years appropriate experience in budget section. Knowledge of the LOGIS and BAS systems as well as the PFMA and Treasury Regulations are essential.

Proficiency in accountancy,English. Good verbal and written communication skills are essential. Good interpersonal relations, analytical and decision-making skills are also required for this post, He/she must be able to handle confidential matters and be discrete when dealing with people, and He /She must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Programmes.

DUTIES : The incumbent will be responsible for: Compilation of medium-term budget for programmes, Preparation and implementation of rollover requests of the Department,

Drafting of budget adjustment for programmes, Capturing and monitoring of budget on basic accounting system (BAS), Rendering of administration services for the management accounting.
