SENIOR VETTING INVESTIGATOR 2 POSTS REF NO: 14/161/COO
SALARY : R270 804– R318 984 per annum, the successful candidate will be required to
sign a performance agreement.

CENTRE : National Office: Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : B Degree or equivalent qualifications in Social Science or related areas; 3 years
vetting investigation experience; Completed SSA, SAPS, DI Vetting investigators
course; A valid driver’s license. Skills and competencies: Computer literacy (MS
Office); Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); Interpersonal relation
skills; Ability to work under pressure; Attention to details; Analytical skills;
Meticulous planning and organizational skills.

DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Conduct vetting fieldwork investigation; Provide inputs
for the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, norms, and
standards in vetting investigations; Ensure effective communication between the
Department, the State Security Agency (SSA) and other related agencies;
Manage finalized files and reports; Provide effective people management.
