ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: SERVICE EXCELLENCE 2 POSTS REF NO:
14/159/COO
SALARY : R270 804 – R 318 984 per annum (All inclusive). The successful candidate will be
required to sign a performance agreement.
CENTRE : National Office: Pretoria
REQUIREMENTS : Three year National Diploma/Degree in Administration/ Management or an
equivalent qualification; At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation,
statistics analysis and project management; Knowledge of public service
prescripts; A valid driver’s license. Skills and competencies: Communication
skills (verbal and written); Computer skills; Project Management skill; Strategic
Planning skills; Problem solving skills; People and change Management skills;
Report writing skills; Negotiation skills; Financial Management.
DUTIES : Key Performance Areas: Ensure implementation of service delivery monitoring
tool; Receive, analyze and consolidate statistical information and progress reports
from service delivery; Develop redress mechanisms for identified challenges;
Evaluate Service delivery programmes to determine service delivery strategic
objectives; Conduct workshops on service delivery monitoring tool and service
excellence awards; Conduct and facilitate impact assessments on service
delivery improvements interventions and service excellence awards; Coordinate
and evaluate the implementation of service delivery improvement plan.
