Responsibilities:
Administration
- Provide general administrative support (filing system, answer phones, monitor donation book, and internal office stock)
- Oversee basic document management (drafting letters, document requests)
- Monitor access to premises
- Shelter volunteer and guest administration managed (system kept up-to-date, schedule managed, guests and clients welcomed)
- Shelter resident, email, and telephone administration appropriately referred (all correspondence appropriately referred internally)
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric School leaving certificate
- Computer literate (skills with all Word programmes)
- Driver’s license an advantage
- Loves a fast-paced work environment
- Handles well under pressure
- Understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality
- Outgoing and excellent interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Time management and organization is a strength
