Sizwe Africa IT Group has a vacancy for a Marketing Manager based at our Samrand offices. The purpose of this position it to promote the company’s brand, products and services. The key objective is to optimize our marketing strategies, managing the marketing team.

Job Title: IT Marketing Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
Development and roll-out of brand strategy (mission, vision and value proposition);
Increase brand visibility and sales through Marketing strategies and activities;
Conceptualize and develop brand activities with relevant role-players;
Manage agencies, customers and suppliers on branding building activities
Identify potential marketing opportunities for brand building, including Public Relations, Events;
Development and maintenance of marketing strategies with Corporate Services Executive
Implementation and introduction of innovative marketing techniques to maximise brand building.
Set monthly targets and manage marketing events with the approval of the Corporate Services Executive;
Development and Maintenance of annual marketing activities for monthly reports;
Identify business opportunities, growth, and risks of market changes.
Custodian of the Sizwe Africa IT Group brand
Promote new products and services using innovative and cost-effective methods
Go to market strategies for various verticals
Sponsorships, Trade Shows, OEM Support
Implementation and development of marketing, campaign and event strategies;
Implementation of all communication across all channels, including online and social media;
Assisting with product development and new and current product/services;
Assisting business units and OEM’s on developing new business opportunities, in line with company and business unit strategies;
Analysis of competitor and OEM strategies;
Implementation, analysis and tracking of sponsorships;
Implementation, analysis and tracking of trade shows performance, effectiveness
Developing strong relationships with key role-players (including but not limited to PR, Digital, Social Media);
Coordinate the execution and communication of marketing activities;
Assist with market research activities.
Proactively drive joint marketing campaigns with OEM’s
Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns
Monitor and improve SEO
Governance, Compliance and Risk Management
Corporate governance is the practices and principles that guide a business and ensures its accountability to its stakeholders. It is a set of processes that affects how a company is operated, regulated and controlled, and good corporate governance adheres to ethical standards, best practices;
Ensures your department/division functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals.
Identifying compliance issues. Ensuring written and verbal policies and regulations of an organization are kept in check.
Risk Management strategies and processes: Support management to identify and analyze the risk which could have an impact of loss to the organization, employees, customers, suppliers and the public.
Audit exposure- ensure all marketing related risks are mitigated as per the company Policies
Responsible for self-development by keeping abreast of new development by following the applicable processes and procedures.
Keep up-to-date with trends in social media marketing, online marketing, including direct response marketing.
Any ad hoc function required to perform from management from time to time
Desired Experience & Qualification:
School : Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
Professional / Tertiary : Diploma / Degree in Marketing equivalent to NQF6
At least 5 years’ previous relevant experience in the capacity of marketing manager.
Knowledge and understanding of the corporate identity of the organization;
Able to effectively communicate and interact professionally at all levels in the organization – excellent communication skills;
High levels of proficiency in verbal and written English;
High levels of quality outputs which is creative and solution driven;
Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels and branding;
Strong analytical and project management skills
Adhere to the strictest levels of confidentiality at all times;
Able to multi tasks whilst honouring time management and maintain a highly organized environment;
Able to work with tight deadlines and still meet set targets (working under pressure
Prepared to work overtime, from time to time;
Extensive travelling locally and nationally
Sound report writing skills
Advanced MS Office skills;
Attention to detail;
Able to work independently as well as functioning in a team environment;
Experience in account based marketing
