Job Purpose:

To service the tax compliance client portfolio of SNG GT in the Business Process Services department and liaise with the various directors and clients to execute the tax compliance work stipulated in the job description below.

Job Description:

The responsibilities will be as follows:

• Preparation and review of Company Income Tax returns (ITR14)
• Preparation of IT14SD reconciliations
• Preparation and review of Trust and Tax Exempt Income Tax returns (ITR12T and IT12EI)
• Preparation and review of Individual Income Tax returns (ITR12)
• Preparation of provisional tax calculations
• Preparation of ancillary tax returns (dividend tax, royalty tax, etc)
• Responding to SARS queries and client queries
• Preparation of objections and appeals
• Understanding of Annual Financial Statements
• Ability to provide training to staff
• The ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work remotely as a team

Experience:

• Preparation and review of Tax returns
• Preparation and completion of IT14SD recons
• Minimum 3 year tax compliance experience

Qualification:

Bcom Degree with the following major subject:

• Accounting
• Taxation
