South African Breweries Ltd is the South African beverage arm of SABMiller plc, with our corporate headquarters based in Sandton, Gauteng. We have 7 production operations across South Africa and distribute 15 beer and fruit flavoured alcoholic beverage brands to liquor retailers via a national network of 42 depots, 10 independent beer distributors and 2 BEE empowerment franchise distributors.

SAB Ltd employs 8500 South Africans across our Beer and Soft Drink Divisions. Our Beer Division delivers to 23 000 customers nationwide, while our Soft Drink Division services over 40 000 direct and 1500 indirect active outlets.

The ideal candidate will have some (or all) of the following competencies & skills:

Warehouse Management
The principles of Transport Economics
Knowledge of different distribution strategies
Relevant working experience will be an advantage
Problem solving in an innovative manner
Analytical skills & ability to deliver under pressure
Analyse & deal with complex practical issues
Well developed interpersonal skills to communicate with a broad customer base and at all levels of the business
General computer literacy with high proficiency on Microsoft Office
