South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) is a non-governmental organisation whose major objectives are the prevention and treatment of Alcohol and Drug Dependence. The first of these objectives is mainly achieved through the provision of treatment services for chemically dependent people and their families (Chemical dependence is an umbrella term used to describe both alcoholism and drug dependence)

Job Title: Senior Social Worker 
Job Location: Nelspruit

Responsibilities:

• Therapy and aftercare (Individual, Group and Family Sessions)
• Motivational Interviewing
• Psychosocial Assessment

Requirements:

• A four year (BA) Social Work Degree
• Registered with the SA Council for Social Service Profession
• Valid code 08 driver’s license (essential)
• Minimum of ten years proven experience
• Computer literate on MS Office
• Experience in the field of alcohol and drug abuse will be beneficial
• Bilingual and excellent communication skills
• Strong administration skills
