The SAFT Group is a well-established player in cold storage solutions for fruit and other perishables, with several facilities throughout the Western Cape.

We are currently recruiting for an IT Systems & Support Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful incumbent will report to the Group Systems & Risk Manager and will be based at SAFT Atlantic/Killarney.

Job Title: IT Systems & Support Administrator
Location: Killarney/Atlantic Hills/Durbanville

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Configure, install and maintain networking and compute infrastructures
Monitor systems and network to ensure no productivity issues
General AD configuration and management
Install and configure operating systems and application software on servers/desktops/ laptops
Implement best practice systems for security and data backups
ICT asset management
Maintain work log on ticketing system
Action all user support (first & second line) including printer management and support
Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues
Liaising with vendors and keeping all stakeholders up to date re developments/progress
Housekeeping of ICT offices
Setup of access points and handheld scanners

Qualification & Requirements:
IT Diploma / IT certificate (A+, N+, MCSE, MCSA or equivalent)
Microsoft 365 certified
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
Experience with VMware and Veeam would be advantageous
Working knowledge of Paltrack, Mimecast, Qlikview, JarrisonTime, Virdi Biometric readers and UNIS would be advantageous
Standby and travelling between the various sites is a minimum requirement
Willingness to work shifts as and when required
Valid driver’s license and own transport
