Customer relations/design
CAD – Freehand from Mac or Ideally Illustrator from HP
Range building according to account specific
Tagging all samples with sample numbers
Photographing entire range, making it available on the share drive, labelled with corresponding numbers.
Consistent and accurate use of the sample tracking system.
Process briefs timeously and accurately.
Compiling comprehensive tech packs for suppliers (CAD’s/ TD’s/Colours/Specs/Artwork
Liaising with Sales Manager/Production Accounts Manager constantly per their/buyers design requirements.

New Developments
Consistent and on-going research for newness in Product; Artwork and Trends direction. (Internet; Magazine; competitive shopping)
Liaising with Sales Managers constantly on activities at retail and newness in trend/product.
Dealing with suppliers queries/styling problems through Co-ordinators (amendments; advice and revisions to design).
Assist Design Manager and Merchandiser in Designing/ development of signature ranges.

Indent System:
Loading of style masters/creating indents timeously and accurately.

Facilitating the QA process:
Measuring where necessary
Co-operation and fulfilment of QA responsibilities
Participation with QA in fittings and technical discussions – understanding of patterns;
fabrics; construction and fits.
Ownership of the fitting process; ensuring specs; fits etc. is in-line with chain-store/buyer requirements.

Ensuring customer QA comments are auctioned timeously and accurately.
Signing off of QA; PPS and Shipping samples as part of a Production team (QA; Design and Co-ordination)
Assist in compiling QA; PPS; Shipping sample reports and packs – comprehensively and timeously.

CADS:
Creating CADS’s/storyboards/graphics for relevant accounts

PPS Process:
Approval of all style specific submissions from suppliers (colour; trims; embroideries; prints; placements etc) as part of a Production Team (QA; Design; Co-ordination) as per buyer requirements.
Weekly analysis of sales reports for each account – involvement of best sellers.

Store visits:
Analyse and report on Bulk production quality of product in-stores.
Report back on competitor analysis
