Job Summary:
Job Description:
Installation of various operating systems, for example, Linux and Windows Server.
Understand and troubleshoot patching and monitoring for both workstations and servers
Identification and resolution of hardware and software problems.
Upgrade servers, such as software, operating system, and applications.
Remote coordination of replacements of various hardware components.
Configuration of various hardware components, such as servers, switches, PDUs.
Technical coordination and close collaboration with our Level 1 team, our local data center teams, the network team, and the advanced services team.
Preparation of technical documentation and reports.
Proactive monitoring and quality assurance.

The Level 2 IT Administrator is a critical piece in our team and is responsible for the delivery of proactive and reactive technical support in an escalation role, as well as proactive client requests and project support. This role will also provide continual improvement of processes and standards to provide a consistent client experience.

Qualified candidates must be able to communicate with clients and co-workers at both technical and non-technical levels. Ideal candidates are self-directed, innovative, organized, and flexible and can consistently maintain our high-quality standards.

The desire and drive to build and maintain customer relationships is a key function of this role. This candidate will also be able to exhibit a sense of urgency in providing exceptional quality service to clients as well as setting and managing expectations.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Level 2 Support
Exposure to Programming Languages such as but not limited to; Python, JavaScript
Database: SQL/Oracle or related database beneficial.
Enthusiasm and willingness to progress within a functional environment.
Ability to integrate an existing team to complete assignments successfully.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent customer and service orientation combined with good communication, team skills, and social competence.
Extensive knowledge of current IT hardware (servers, switches, firewalls, load balancers)
Advanced knowledge of network technology, especially server technology.
